Match Media provides tools to help members make informed decisions, but no online verification can remove every risk. Take your time and use your own judgment.
Verification badges
A mobile-verified badge confirms that the member completed mobile verification. Verified and Premium Verified badges indicate that the applicable profile or additional checks were completed. A badge is not a guarantee of identity, character, intentions, or safety.
Photos and consent
Photos are reviewed before display. Photos protected by a viewing-request control remain blurred until the profile owner approves the request. Do not pressure anyone to reveal a photo or other personal information.
Contact details and communication
Your contact details are never shared without your mutual consent. Use Match Media messaging and calling when getting to know a match, and do not attempt to bypass another member's privacy settings.
Recognize and report concerns
Never send money or share financial credentials with someone you met through the service. If a profile or conversation concerns you, use the in-app Report tool; our moderation team reviews reports and may take action under our Terms.
